Get ready for an action-packed week full of intrigue and martial arts! Campers will explore codes, fingerprints, signs of deception, disguises, subject descriptions, and Krav Maga and Jiu-Jitsu techniques. It is not a coincidence that the spy skills learned in this camp come in handy for dealing with bullies and dangerous adults.

This camp is filled with activities for: physical fitness, self-defense, confidence building, assessing for deceit and danger, incident reporting, and fun with new friends. Plus, we’ll develop confidence and skills to avoid dangerous situations and people, and how to talk about them to safe adults.

This exciting camp will be taught by ATX Tactics co-lead instructor Vanessa Swesnik, whose background as a classroom teacher, police officer, and martial arts enthusiast provide the unique skill set required to teach self-defense to children. She loves working with children of all ages and is excited to bring developmentally appropriate games and activities to this lively group of 7 - 12 year olds. (Yes, she will find teachable moments and capitalize on them at every chance she gets!)

There will be at least one additional instructor (TBA) to ensure a good adult to child ratio

10:45am-11:15am Spy Skills learning (Teacher led group reading and/or discussion and snack)
11:15am-11:50am: Spy Skills activities
11:50am-12:00pm: Just for Fun game

9:30-11:30am Review Krav Maga / Jiu Jitsu and Spy Skills (drills, games, activities)
10:30am-12:00pm: Spy Kids movie and snacks!

No prior martial arts experience necessary

Important:
Enrollment numbers are capped at 18 children and the minimum is 6. In the case that we do not have 6 attendees enrolled 7 days before the start of camp, camp will be canceled and you will be refunded.
